General Election Campaign
City-wide campaign period with public financing options, mandatory debate and forum participation requirements, and full transparency standards.
City-Wide Vote
Each city elects 2 senators by direct public vote. Elections are staggered โ 1 senator per city elected every 3 years.
Senate President Election
The Senate President is elected internally by Senate membership for 3-year terms.
People's Legislator Elections (Lower House)
Candidate Eligibility
Minimum age 25. Natural-born citizen or 10-year naturalized citizen. 5 years of residency in the city they will represent. Community service record preferred.
Proportional Representation System
Representatives are elected through proportional representation within each city โ ensuring minority voices and diverse ideological blocs are represented in proportion to votes cast.
General Election
Each city elects 8 representatives simultaneously. All seats in the People's Legislator are contested in the same election every 3 years.
Chief Representative Election
The Chief Representative is elected internally by the full chamber membership.
